Handy Dad Home Maintenance Service helps with small repairs and maintenance tasks that others often refuse. We were founded by Mike Mooy, a former insurance industry executive who now pursues his passion and skills for helping others. In adition to his handyman services, Mike also volunteers in our community to feed the homeless, plant trees, and clean up the Don River. He’s also served as president of Rotary Toronto Eglinton. Mike lives in Moore Park where he and his wife of 30 years have raised their children and is a proud grandfather.
Handy Dad offers services in midtown Toronto, and is trusted by the owners of some of Toronto’s most prestigious homes. We are a licensed and insured business.

Your handy dad is an educated, friendly professional who will always arrive on time, have a tidy appearance, be respectful of your home, privacy, and your time. He is also child and pet friendly.
We will arrive in clean, newer vehicle, and not ask to put a sign on your lawn, because our best advertising is your good word.
Available when you are
We offer convenient hours, including most Saturdays. We also respect the value of your time and promise to be at your home as scheduled. On those rare occasions when we are delayed, we will let you know right away.
We also understand if you need to make a last minute appointment change or cancellation, and will do our best to find a new time that works for you.
